We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer, a telecommunications specialist to construct, install, monitor, repair and maintain communications systems and equipment , familiar will data cables, wiring, circuits, digital computers and all related systems and devices , an experienced IT to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions:
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
- Shall be able to fusion and mechanical splicing SM,MM fiber optic cables to include terminate various type of fiber optic connectors( SC,LC,FC,ST)
- Properly addressing TCP/IP network s and RS-485 communications
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
Requirements:
- Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer
- Have experience in similar OSP/ISP projects in gulf at least 5 years
- Familiar with all tools, testing devices and all kinds of fiber optic splicing machines
- Hands on experience with all telecommunications systems including peripheral equipment (e.g. computer networks, optical fiber, on site controllers, data modems, terminals, etc)
- Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Familiarity with access control models and network security
- Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering , Telecommunications or a related field , MSc/MA will be a plus.
